Brushless motors are optimal for higher-lifetime expectancy and for higher power density applications. The electronics are also more complex. Brushless motors offer more versatility in speed, position and torque control.
Structure Options
Actuator produces motors with segmented surface magnets (SPM) or ring magnets for applications that require high torque and easy control. The structure of the motor can be adapted for AC or DC power supply. For high speed or high vibration applications, Actuator specs internal permanent magnets (IPM). An additional option includes spoke design for very high power density applications. Available in sensored or sensorless configuration.
