All of the controllers and PCBA integrated software are designed and validated in-house at Actuator. They operate between 5V and 72V, and can drive motors from just a few watts up to 6kW electric.

Drive Methods

Actuator provides the know-how and versatility to drive motors with a variety of methods.

  • Trapezoidal 6 steps (sensored and sensorless)
  • Field-oriented control (sensored and sensorless)
  • Flux weakening
  • Speed, position, and torque control

For software safety functions AEM can code the software following the IEC 60730-1 standard.

Actuator can offer complete bundle solutions, including motor, controller, and accessories such as trigger/potentiometer, battery connection, and LED.

Testing and Certification

With more than twenty years’ experience in inspection, testing, and certification related to motors and controllers, Actuator provides testing and certification reports at every stage, from design to mass production. The Testing Center has been assessed according to ISO/IEC 17025 by SGS-CSTC, indicating that the Testing Center has reached the internationally recognized level in terms of test capability and technical level of test personnel.
